All facials are carried out using Tropic Skincare products and include:

Double cleanse, Tone, and Exfoliation.  Next is a relaxing 20 minute neck, shoulder and face massage followed by a mask to suit your skin's needs.  Finished off with eye cream, a moisturiser suitable for your skins needs, and facial SPF50.

I believe that everyone should be able to receive a massage treatment, even if you have had Cancer or have recently received a Cancer diagnosis.  
Sometimes you just want to get off the 'cycle' of hospital visits, treatments, etc and have a moment of 'normality' and take back some control of your body, rather than the cancer/treatment controlling you.  Never has being treated to some 'me' time without having to worry what others are thinking,  ever been  more important.  
I provide Massage treatments that will help to reduce your anxiety, lessen tension you hold in your body (that you probably don't know about) and improve your mood.  They will help to manage the side effects of chemotherapy, and leave you feeling relaxed.

The appointment is for 70 minutes which includes a 50 minute treatment and 20 minutes for a chat and relaxation afterwards to talk through your cancer journey, feelings etc.  As I've been where you are, I'm hoping that you will find this useful to be able to talk with somebody who has been through the cancer journey.

Oncology Massage

Restorative Touch is a very relaxing 'treatment' especially for those going through Cancer Treatment.  The client is fully clothed and then 'swaddled' in blankets and supported either lying on their side or back, by cushions and pillows.  The therapist then places their hands onto the body working from head to feet.  It is a warming and very relaxing treatment (I personally found this more relaxing than a massage when I was completing my Oncology Massage training!!)

Whether it's a relaxing swedish massage or a deep tissue massage that you're looking for, this is for you if you're a carer of a loved one with a cancer diagnosis.

Carers Massage

Oncology

If you sit at a computer all day and feel your muscles all tense, then this treatment is for you.  A relaxing massage using long strokes and light-medium pressure working the soft tissue of the body, to relieve the tension and stresses held in your body.  It helps to increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the treated areas and will leave you feeling relaxed.  Can also be used to target any areas specific areas of concern.

Swedish Body Massage

A more targeted massage where pressure is applied on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and facia (the protective layer around muscles).  Can help to decrease tension and improve flexibility.  Will also assist in any of the 'tight knots' that are reported by clients.

Deep Tissue Massage

Lava Stones are heated in a water bath and are used by the therapist to massage.  Very little pressure is required as the heat from the stones can penetrate into the muscles during the massage.  Can help to relieve tension, stress and anxiety and pain.  It can also aid sleep.
