Our initial sessions are scheduled for one hour. While this may seem lengthy, it allows us to take the necessary time to ensure your dog feels completely comfortable with the process. This period also helps to build trust, ensuring a positive experience before we proceed with any dental work. 
Additional sessions may be necessary if your dog is not yet fully comfortable with the process and requires a slower approach. Alternatively, extra time may be needed if the plaque is more resistant to removal. Each dog's mouth is unique, so a tailored approach is essential.

Initial Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning Session

Hourly sessions are only available once an initial session has been completed.

Your dog may need additional appointments from an initial session to ensure all plaque has been removed, so we can start with a clean slate and establish regular appointment times. If your dog has gone over the 6-month period for top-ups after this, they will need to go back onto an hourly slot until the buildup has been removed and we are both satisfied to continue with top-up sessions

Hourly teeth cleaning session

Top up sessions are 30 minutes, these are only available if your dog has visited within the last 6 months. If they go over the 6 month period they would need to go back and complete an hourly session.

Top-up sessions are recommended as often as needed. 
Each dog's mouth is unique, with varying bacterial communities influenced by factors such as environment and diet, as well as different mouth shapes and sizes. This can affect the rate of plaque buildup. Some dogs may experience buildup within two weeks of treatment, while others may not see significant buildup for up to six months so it's important that we work together to find a schedule that works for everyone.

Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning

This service is beneficial for dogs prone to anal gland issues.

Anal glands are two glands located in the anus which naturally secrete a smelly fluid used for marking territory, and lubricating bowel movement. If they become impacted by failing to empty properly they can cause discomfort, resulting in behaviours such as itching and biting around the area and scooting their bum along the floor.
Expression helps prevent blockages, infections, and unpleasant odors.

Anal Glands

A nail trim is an essential grooming service that helps maintain your dog’s health and mobility. 

Overgrown nails can cause pain, discomfort, and even lead to long-term issues like joint stress. Regular nail trimming prevents these issues and helps your dog walk and move comfortably. 

Our nail trimming service features a final touch with an electric Dremel to smooth out sharp edges, ensuring that your pet's nails are trimmed as short as possible for their safety and comfort.

Ear plucking is a grooming service that involves removal of excess hair from the inner ear canal. This is done to help improve airflow, reduce the accumulation of wax and debris, and prevent potential infections.

As a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma-certified dog groomer, I’m happy to offer a light eye trim to keep your dog comfortable until their next full grooming session. This service is especially beneficial for long-haired breeds like Cockapoos, Poodles, and Shih Tzus, helping to keep the hair around their eyes neat, clean and tidy in between appointments
